FAILURE IS REBIRTH
FAILURE IS REBIRTH
INTRODUCTION:
Failure is an integral part of success. This means that for a man to embrace success in his goals and dreams, he must be ready to embrace failure. Running away from failure is like running away from success. Because, success is built upon failure. This writer needs to emphasise on this: "Success is the byproduct of Failure." So, in this Article, we gonna clearly elucidate how our failure is definitely REBIRTH and how to use it as REBIRTH.
FAILURE Vs REBIRTH
When failure occurs to us, we are prone to have rebirth, provided that we don't give up. But thousands of our people are running away from failure. Then , how can there be rebirth? How will it be possible to see our hidden potential. Failure being an unavoidable part of life. It's rooted in our DREAMS. We need to know this. As long as we are having one or two things pursuing in life, definitely, we are bound to fail. Failure doesn't terminate our essence of existence. It doesn't wipe out our beautiful dreams to become an epitome of achievements and success. Frankly speaking, apparently, when failure occurs, it makes us think negatively. There, you will see a man making attempt to succide. The below is a true life illustration.
A student in one tertiary institution blindly and unreasonably committed suicide. What could warrant such a stupid action? It was confirmed that such a student of superfluous thinking carried over two of her courses. Let's imagine this, my people. Was she the first on earth to fail in her academic pursuits? Definitely, she was not the first and she won't be the last throughout the the University and the world at large.
On the other hand, that is, "REBIRTH." It is a means of making something or someone better and back to full use". Great Minds, we need to know that there can be no REBIRTH without first experiencing and fasting the bitterness of REBIRTH. This is because it is attached to failure. REBIRTH is that bridge that gets you up after falling down and connects you with dreams and careers of yours. So, if such bridge, that is, REBIRTH be removed, then man will continue wallowing in the sea of failure forever.
Let's give another illustration to expatiate this concept of REBIRTH more. This REBIRTH could be also said to a schoolteacher. FAILURE is said to be the student. Because, literally, the word "student" is bound to make mistakes and fail also. But the teacher, REBIRTH, will be there to correct the mistakes. This will work out if only the student is ready to admit his or her mistakes and submit to the teacher, then, the teach will clarify the reasons behind his previous mistakes and guide him. But this, such student will get improved and turn his failures to success later on as REBIRTH.
FAILURE IS NOT A CURSE
Yes, it is not. The happening of failure to man is sometimes seen as a curse or spell. When someone encounters series of failures and rejections in his pursuits, people will see him or her as a spell bound being. In fact, it sometimes reaches an extreme point where some people would be avoiding him in the belief that he is a "bad luck," he can never make it in life. Well such is life and that is human for you. Above all, it is your choice to either reaffirm that bad luck they have been calling you or you proof them so wrong.
Great minds, what is explained above had actually happened to the achievers of this century. They had been called series of names; bad luck, spell bound, failure. But the good part of it is that none of them ever listened to their negative words. Here, we shall take a look at some of these Great Achievers so far and learn from their lives by embracing REBIRTH.
J. K Rowling
She is a British writer. But before she could made it to the top writers in the world, she failed and was rejected. Before her great book ever which was titled; "Harry Potter." popularised her name by Bloomsbury, a little London Publishing Company, she had been rejected by many publishers. She faced series of literary challenges like; intellectual property issues; plagiarism, copyrights issues among others. It reached a point where she was sued for plagiarising other authors' works. She faced legal diputes but never relented. She fought the battle throughout the process of the legal actions against her. She later gained court victory. This did not also affirn the reality of her intellectual property but also set a precedent for writers across the world to stand up for their words because they will face numerous challenges and rejections. Let embrace REBIRTH like this great writer did.
Jack Ma
He was born in 1962, Hangzhou, China. Before he became the CEO of Alibaba, an e-commerce company, he had failed countless times and rejected. In his life, he had been seen as a failure because of several rejections. It was recorded that he tried to get an admission into Havard Business School but got rejected (ten times). He had also been rejected and seen as a failure when he applied for a job interview at KFC. Out of 24 people that applied, he was the only one that was rejected. Dear readers, wouldn't this cause a person to become a victim of depression or suicide? Wouldn't such a person see himself or herself as a complete failure and a spell bound being?
Before he could get his Alibaba company established he sought for financial support from his friends and neighbours but he was taunted as a mere failure.
He once said in one of his quotes that:
" I have been rejected 30 times. But now, they are sorry."
Alva Thomas Edison
He is the brain behind the invention of Light Bulb. Since his childhood, he had been seen as a complete failure. His teacher once gave him a letter to give his parents. The letter read:
"You are a failure,. You can never learn anything"
His mother felt so sad. But she didn't want to make Edison sad and said to him while crying:
"You are a genius. You can learning anything."
Although, he later discovered this when he grew up.
In the course of inventing his Light Bulb, he once made (1,000 attempts). A reporter then asked: "How did it feel to fail 1,000 times."
Edison replied: "I didn't fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps."
Also, Edison tried another two thousands materials in search of a filament for the light bulb but none worked satisfactorily. So, his assist then said to him:
"All our work is vain. We have learned nothing."
Edison replied: "Oh, we have come a long way and we have learned a lot. We now that there two thousand elements which we cannot use to make a good light bulb.
Michael Jordan
So far so good, this great basket ball player had made a good record in the history of Athletics. Before he became an exemplification of achievements, he had failed several times and got rejected.
He said in one of his quotes:
" I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions, I have been entrusted to take the game-winning shots and I missed. I have failed over and over again. And that is why I succeed."
In conclusion, from the above points and explanations, FAILURE is a part and parcel of SUCCESS. As long as you have a dream, be expecting it. Failure is not the end of your life career. It is an opportunity to embrace REBIRTH and reveal those hidden POTENTIALS in you.
